Rs 2500 Crore Cash & Gold Seized by IT & NIA Joint Team

cashMedia reports suggest that in a joint operation of  National Investigation Agency and Income Tax department, huge amount of cash counting to Rs 2500 crores laden in four tempos were   intercepted near Mumbai Central station on Monday. It is reported that cash and gold was  bound for Ahmadabad. The joint operation was carried out at around 9 pm, when the four tempos carrying currencies  stacked in cartons and big bags stuffed with gold and jewellery were brought at Mumbai Central station.
